Obscure Instructions and Lame Hardware, By

I am going to be totally honest in my review. I assure you that this is not a positive review.First off, when the swing set arrived, the box was partially open revealing some of the A frame bars. They were taped over with shipping tape! Shabby, very very shabby!! None of the parts were labeled. We had to sit and figure out which parts were which. This made the assembly take longer than it should have. Ridiculous! After we figured out which parts were which, the true assembly begun. I must mention that most the hardware (screws, nuts etc etc.) did not match up to the description in the instruction guide. In fact, many of them simply did not fit the way they were supposed to. There are NO instructions how to assemble the see saw. You have to implant part of the L bar into the ground for it to be level. It shows you no where which two holes (there are three) to attach the L bar to. Also, the hardware was not the right length to attach to the... Read more

This swing set is well built for little kids. The see-saw, slide, glider, rings and 3 swings is a nice combo for several kids to play at the same time. It seems to be well made and constructed with safety in mind. The only complaint is that the directions do not provide enough detail to help the assembler put the right poles in the right place. My brother-in-law and I are both fairly handy and we had to take some of the legs off and move them around to get them in the right spot because the instructions did not clearly indicate which poles go where.Once these issues were resolved, however, it was fairly easy. I think we spent about 2 1/2 hours on it. The price was right and if we get 2 - 3 seasons use out of it, it will be money well spent. We just need it to warm up so the kids can really enjoy it.

I purchased this multi-activity playset for my grandchilden. The rather large, bulky and heavy carton was shipped half-way across the country in two-days, FREE (Amazon Prime). My son assembled it himself (two adults would be more helpful) in one afternoon. As usual with most multi-part products, one small swing part was missing (there are three swings, two were complete). A quick call to the manufacuturer had the missing part arrive in three days.The set includes ground anchors but I purchased an additional anchor set (from Amazon) to more securly attach it to the ground. In fact, the more weight (children) on the playset, the more stable it becomes. The set can accommodate eight or nine children at one time (good luck to the adult in charge). The weight limit is stated at 105 lbs. per child but during the "official adult test-run" it supported twice that weight. This set is an excellent value.
